What's the best way to get started?
Just come on in! Decide you are ready now, because you are.
Do our two week $39 unlimited Newcomers’ Deal, so you can see what yoga can do for you physically & mentally. Come as much as you can during the two weeks.

Please, come yoga with us! We have people who yoga at FBY who are in their 70’s, we have people at FBY who are slim, who are curvy, who are older, who are younger. we have guys, gals, people who are naturally very flexible & people who are not at all flexible.
TRUST US ON THIS! You do NOT need to be slim & able to to handstands to do yoga here. The vast majority of people here had never tried heated power yoga before. You will feel comfortable here. Do not let any other “narrative” get in your way.
How will yoga make me feel?
Yoga – as a consistent practice – will help you feel far more comfortable in your body, with less tension & stress. Think about how you feel when your body feels better… everything else feels better.
You’ll also feel more confident, more resilient, more at peace with yourself & more creative. Yoga will make you feel more capable. Yoga will help you become more of a “figure-outer” in your world.
Yoga will help you be less reactive & will help you create more of what you want in your world.

Why is yoga good for teens?
Every single person who shares yoga here wishes we had started in our teens!
Yoga is an incredible way for teens to be in creation of what they do want, rather than always being in reaction to life.
Yoga gives teens a way to feel what they feel, in a healthy way, & for teens to feel more connected to themselves & to possibility.
Physically, yoga improves balance, strength & confidence, but it’s so much more than that.
What teens figure out on their mat will help them throughout their lives.
How old do you have to be to yoga at Feel Better Yoga?
Anyone under 18 years old, who is 16 years old & older is welcome to go to any of our classes at Feel Better Yoga, with their parents’ consent.
If you have a child that is 13 years old or older, they are able to yoga with you, provided they are accustomed to group classes & you are ok with them practicing in the infrared heat.
Yoga For Athletes
We have so many collegiate & high school athletes that yoga with us!
Yoga lessens the risk of injury in sports in a big way & supprots athletes’ bodies with more resiliency & a better range of motion.
More than that, however, are the mind/body connection benefits of yoga. Athletes are able to access inner awareness, choice, visualization, which informs what happens “on the field” in a major way.
We also love offering private classes for sports teams.
How much will I sweat in power vinyasa?
A lot! We all sweat a lot.
It is so healthy, & you’ll love the way it makes you feel.
Guys tend to sweat more than gals, & tha’ts ok, too!
What is the temperature in the heated classes?
Our power vinyasa classes are usually 90-95 degrees.
Our recharge classes are usually 88-90 degrees. Same for our deep stretch & yin.
We do not heat our weights classes.
What do I wear?
Whatever feels good to you. Yoga leggings, or shorts, with a tank top or sports bra is usually a good combo.
How much water should I drink before yoga?
Drink enough throughout the day so you feel hydated. Def don’t guzzle a gallon of water an hour before class.
We have a filtered water fountain in our studios & we also have drink machines with different beverages in each studio.
What do I need to know if I am a beginner?
Know that each & every one one of us started as a beginner! We all begin again every single day, & that is the truth. Do not let you being a beginner get in your way!
Do the two week unlimited for $39. That is such a fab deal! You get unlimited yoga for two weeks.. so try all of our classes!
Some people only do deep stretch, some only do weights & power vinyasa. You’ll find your groove & then you’ll feel what you need best as you try different classes.
You’ll see once you’re here. You’ll be on your way!
You’ll be so glad you got in here, because your mind & body (& life) will begin to feel so much better.
Bring a mat & some water. (We also have filtered water at both studios, along with a drink machine with lots of options.)

Do you have mats available for rent?
Yes! We have Jade mats available for rent, for $3. We also sell a variety of mats in the studios, including Jade, Liforme & Manduka.
